Hop aboard AMTRAK’s newest sensation—
The Downeaster—for a great
"end-of-summer" getaway to Portland. You
depart from Boston’s North Station at 9 a.m.
on Saturday, arriving in Portland after a few
scenic hours enjoying the comfort of Amtrak’s
modern rail travel. Your accommodations are
at the Eastland Park Hotel—conveniently
located in the heart of downtown Portland’s
acclaimed arts and shopping district.
Surrounded by quaint galleries, outstanding
restaurants, upscale shops and museums,
including the Portland Museum of Art, the
Eastland Park is also adjacent to Congress
Square, an outdoor European-style city-center
plaza, and just moments away from Portland’s
famed Old Port waterfront. Well-appointed
guest rooms offer coffeemaker, hair dryer and
high-speed wireless Internet and the hotel also

rooftop lounge. You’ll be treated to visits to the
Portland Museum of Art and Henry
Wadsworth Longfellow’s boyhood home as
