The mystical ruins and misty peaks of Machu Picchu are, for many, a once-in-a-lifetime destination. On this amazing South American adventure, we’ll walk in the footsteps of the ancient Inca as we experience the history of Machu Picchu, the Sacred Valley and notable Incan sites in Cusco. “The Lost City of the Incas” is a well-preserved pre-Columbian Inca ruin located at 7,970’ on a mountain ridge. Forgotten for centuries by the outside world, although not by locals, it was brought back to international attention by archaeologist Hiram Bingham, who rediscovered it in 1911 and wrote a best-selling work about it. Since 1983 the site has been designated as a United Nations Educational World Heritage Site. One of the most popular places to visit in the world, it appears on many lists of the best places to see and is recognized as one of the seven Modern Wonders of the World.

$3,199 per person double occupancy
