Discover a rich cultural, historic and natural heritage as we cruise the Loire—France's longest river— famous for medieval villages, fairytale castles and vineyards and an abundance of UNESCO heritage sites. Join us on CroisiEurope’s exclusive itinerary and cruise on a vessel specially designed for this waterway. The Loire is also known as the 'royal river', due to the number of kings and aristocrats who lived in the hundreds of beautiful castles and châteaux that line its banks. The Loire Valley is the largest area in France to be included as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and its dreamlike landscapes have long captivated artists and authors. We’ll enjoy visits to Nantes—boasting a unique architectural heritage with its magnificent Château des ducs de Bretagne, a Renaissance-style castle nestled in a fortress, a medieval quarter and one of the highest cathedrals of France—explore the Saint-Nazaire shipyard, visit Angers—the capital of historic Anjou—the lovely Châteaux and the Muscadet wine region.
