Join in the festivities as Quebec City celebrates the joy and magic of winter with the world’s largest winter carnival! A highlight on the Quebec event calendar since 1894, this rowdy tradition is a chance to “eat, drink and be merry.” In addition to the Carnival’s revelry, and over the course of two days, you’ll see the Plains of Abraham, the Citadel, Château Frontenac, the unique Ice Hotel, the magnificent Snow Palace, the majestic Shrine of Ste. Anne de Beaupre, dating back to 1658, and the “taller-than-Niagara-Falls” Montmorency Falls. You’ll be carried away by the spectrum of events and activities, including snow rafting, horsedrawn sleigh and dog sled rides, the canoe race on the icy St. Lawrence river, the International Snow Sculpture Competition, and the magical night parades.
