Join us on an adventure to the Great Smoky Mountains—ridge upon ridge of forested mountains, diverse plant and wildlife, and remnants of Southern Appalachian mountain culture—this is America’s most visited national park and named for the blue-like smoky mist that surrounds them. From our accommodations in the charming mountain resort town of Gatlinburg, we’ll be entertained at the Comedy Barn Theatre, enjoy the Hatfield and McCoy Dinner Show, take in a performance at the Smoky Mountain Opry and tap our feet to “America’s Hit Parade.” Free time in Gatlinburg affords the opportunity to explore the unique craft and specialty shops, restaurants and attractions lining its Main Street and an optional tour to “Dollywood” will be offered. A special highlight is an excursion to the incredible Biltmore Estate, Winery and Gardens—a 250-room French chateau owned by the Vanderbilt family, the largest privately-owned home in America. We’ll make our way home by way of the beautiful Shenandoah Valley and the Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia.
