Show of the Month Club was the first
theater club of its kind in New England to bring its members closer to the
world’s great performances. Beginning with its very first London Theater tour
back in the late 1950’s, Show of the Month Club
has been offering its members first-class travel at unbeatable prices for over
50 years.
In 1998, Show of the Month expanded to include an exciting new membership
benefit-an exclusive members-only travel club. While the name suggests travel
with a theatrical theme, the reality is that the club offers all kinds of
travel to the world’s most desired destinations, including many that feature
world-class performances and cultural events-always at tremendous savings.
The Travel Club is
a subsidiary of New Venture Media Group LLC, which owns and operates Show of the Month Club. The company also publishes Playbill and
Theatrebill—Boston’s leading theater program magazines, and
Panorama, the official Guide to Boston.
To all of you at SOMC, I want to take a minute to tell you my thoughts about my most recent trip with you. I went to Tuscany the first week in March. As always it was fabulous. Italy is my favorite destination in Europe to begin with and Tuscany was spectacular. This was my fifth trip with SOMC to Europe. I have traveled with either my husband, children, and/or friends on each of these trips and hope to plan the next one for this fall. ( It’s become an every six month thing ) Again thank you for providing these exciting economic yet incredibly satisfying trips. So many of these places I would like to return to but then there are so many new places I want to see. Please keep up the good work!

Show of the Month continues to be a spectacular travel bargain. This trip was a wonderful balance of history, scenery, food, architecture and location. We like some combination of guided and free time. The included lunch in Sesimbra was THE most delicious meal we have ever had on a trip anywhere.

But the trip more than lived up to its billing.
